We at Ventura Pranas ensure that all teams get away on mini trips twice a year and my own team of directs and I get to do the same.
We use this trip to spend time together doing fun things together, we also set aside time to examine the state of business, and where we wish to go.
This year, the trip with my directs was the first of its kind on many fronts: It was the first overseas trip for most of them; my directs from other countries participated in it.
It was a time for us to reflect on how far we had come and also look at the work cut out for us.
We did this without the general din of a workday at the office. It made a world of difference.
We have now returned to work with the resolve to put into action some initiatives that will improve the quality of service for our clients and provide our larger team an opportunity to take part in the future direction of the firm.
